  • Overall tips There is really a lot to do in this very European city in the summer. We stayed near the old city and I highly recommend as they have a lot for the kids. Also, China town is there and the food is great. Their waterfront is also fantastic and the food of course is great!
Accommodation
  • Holiday Inn Montreal Centreville Downtown

Great location in China town and steps from the Old City. I am IHG Spire (or whatever the top level is) and they upgraded the 5 of us to a suite. Best part... kids under 12 eat free and with my status my wife and I had a free breakfast. Staff were great.
Activities

Montreal, QC, Canada

    • Old Montreal
      Montreal, QC, Canada
In the summer they have a festival where a bunch of streets become an 18th century scene - we were there for a long time with the kids. The actors were hysterical and lots of hands on activities.
      • Tatami Sushi Bar and Restaurant
        140 Rue Notre-Dame West, Montréal, QC H2Y 1T1, Canada
Not worth it - too expensive with kids

    • Tyrolienne MTL Zipline
Hangar 16, 363 Rue de la Commune E, Montréal, QC, Canada
My son loved this - he was 9 stories up! There is also a series of bouncy castles and rides for the kids in the same area.

Neat place to hang with the kids. A lot of great exhibits inside the top floor is fun and is a great view of the whole city.

Food is not bad and the kids eat free 12 and under!
