London, United Kingdom
  • Traveled with BA
  • Overall tips While expensive, there is so much to do with the kids. we were busy everyday and the city is really family friendly. though a stroller on the tube can be a challenge, it is doable.
Accommodation
  • London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square
Grosvenor Square, London W1K 6JP, United Kingdom
Great location and good service. Make sure to upgrade to an executive room, the free breakfast pays for itself. There was a fruit stand just on the corner at Oxford street. Cheap, healthy snacks!

London, United Kingdom

    • Buckingham Palace
      London SW1A 1AA, United Kingdom
In the summer they open up the palace. Didn't think i would like it, but was really fun. My daughter was in heaven! Its a long walk through the palace the bathrooms aren't till the end. Was a slight challenge with my 4 year old, but he did fine. There is a neat video half way showing how they get ready for the grand dinners.
      • Pret A Manger
99 Gloucester Road, London SW7 4SS, United Kingdom
All over the city, great cheap way to feed the family, and it is actually good

London, United Kingdom

    • Tower of London
      London EC3N 4AB, United Kingdom
The boats will drop you off there and there is a lot to see with the kids. There was enough for both the boys and our daughter to enjoy. Possible to spend most of a day there
      • Eat
16A Soho Square, London W1D 3QH, United Kingdom
Similar to pret, good food and inexpensive
        • River Thames
          River Thames, United Kingdom
Nice way to spend a few hours and see a lot of London, kids love being on the water

London, United Kingdom

    • Jamie's Italian Covent Garden
11 Upper St Martin's Ln, London WC2H 9FB, United Kingdom
Good reasonably priced food. In the heart of Covent garden. In the summer there are buskers right there so all round good spot with the kids after the transport museum.
      • London Transport Museum
Covent Garden Piazza, London WC2E 7BB, United Kingdom
My favorite museum in London and the kids loved it. Right in Covent garden so after there is a lot to see and eat.

    • Sticks'n'Sushi
11 Henrietta St, London WC2E 8PY, United Kingdom
Though they messed up our reservation, they were quite accommodating and the sushi was fantastic.
      • Palace of Westminster
        London SW1A 0AA, United Kingdom
In the summer, Parliament rises and there are tours. I took my older son (10) and he loved it. The tour was quite extensive and as a bonus they took us into the House of Lords. Tons of history and the guides were superb.
        • Victoria and Albert Museum
Cromwell Rd, London SW7 2RL, United Kingdom
A must for any stay in London. Easily spend a few hours with the kids.
