  • Overall tips 2 hours from toronto - my wife and i try to get up there every winter for a 2 night getaway. The skiing is pretty good and the restaurants are nice - also a great family resort

We use time share points - but you can also rent. Just outside of the village, well run and has hot tubs outside. Just no sidewalk into the village so watch at night. There are studio, 1 and 2 bedroom rentals with kitchens, which is great with the kids. Service is pretty good as well.

While the skiing doesn't compare to Quebec or even out west, for a quick ski getaway outside of Toronto, you can't beat the skiing here. It can get crowded on the weekends, but with the expansion there are more hills so it is better than it used to be. I definitely recommend skiing here in the winter.
      • Tholos Restaurant

Really great Greek food. Sometimes it is pretty busy, but if just the two of you they will let you eat at the bar.
